Mapping local underground scenes.

Driven by people and taste, not algorithms.

Curated

Channel is built around selectors, radios, producers, and curators chosen by their communities, not surfaced by an algorithm. Discovery here is intentional and rooted in trust, taste, and local ecosystems.

Independent

When someone you follow goes live or announces something new in your scene, you hear about it directly. You can support them through tips. Updates go to your inbox. No ads. No feed shaping what you see.

Collaborative

Underground culture is collective. DJs, producers, venues, promoters, radios, curators, and dancers all shape it together. Channel reflects that. Selectors highlight the events, spaces, and people they support, and scenes are mapped as ecosystems.

About / FAQs

Channel maps local underground scenes.

It brings together the selectors, venues, and shows shaping a city's specific niche in one structured place. Instead of relying on feeds or disappearing posts, updates are direct and persistent. No ads. No algorithms.

For DJs
A single profile that reflects your role in your local ecosystem. Share sets, list upcoming dates, highlight events and releases, livestream with chat, and notify your followers directly by email when something new happens. No more depending on Instagram to reach your audience.

For listeners
Follow the selectors and venues you care about and receive email notifications when they play or publish something new. Join chats during sets and stay in the loop without chasing stories or scrolling feeds.

Channel is built around real local ecosystems, not algorithms and feeds.

It maps people and places first, then the content around them. You follow who matters and get updates directly, without relying on social platforms to maybe surface them.

Channel is free to use. There are no ads.

The platform runs on a revenue share model, keeping incentives aligned with the selectors, venues, and communities using it.

Get Involved

My name is Cap. I'm building Channel out of love for DJ culture and the communities that make it so special.

After moving from Paris to New York to Los Angeles, I realized how hard it can be to stay connected with DJs, dancers, and curators beyond the dancefloor. This culture deserves better tools — to support artists, strengthen communities, and make it easier to follow the sounds and people you love.

I'm looking to connect with DJs, venues, nightlife promoters, producers, dancers, curators, and music heads of all kinds. Whether you want to collaborate, give feedback, broadcast or record a set, or just chat, I'd love to hear from you.

Channel is growing, and I'm especially interested in conversations around DJ programming, fan and community support, and building a healthy, sustainable ecosystem around DJ culture.

If any of this resonates, reach out. I'd love to connect.
