Channel Media, Inc.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Channel, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be 13 years or older to use Channel.
3. Description of Service
Channel provides:
- Live audio streams from third-party radio stations
- Public chat rooms
- Show schedules
- Optional local notifications
- BPM information
We do not own or control station content.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to post:
- Harassment or threats
- Hate speech (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.)
- Illegal content
- Sexual or explicit content
- Spam, ads, or self-promotion
- Someone else's personal information
Violations may result in message removal or access restriction.
5. User-Generated Content
By posting chat messages, you understand:
- Messages are public
- Anyone tuned to the station may see them
- You are responsible for what you post
- We may remove content or restrict access to protect the community
Optional Automatic Messages
The app may generate short public messages based on your listening activity (for example, when you "love" a show or listen for an extended period). These messages are part of the community experience and:
- are optional
- can be disabled at any time in Settings
- do not include personal data beyond your username
- appear in the station's public chat like any normal user message
By using the chat feature, you acknowledge that enabling this setting will allow these optional activity messages to appear publicly.
6. External Radio Streams
Channel streams content from:
- Subtle Radio
- Dublab
- Rinse FM (UK)
- Rinse FR
- NTS 1
- NTS 2
We are not responsible for:
- Stream interruptions
- Copyright issues related to broadcast content
- Schedule accuracy
- Content quality or appropriateness
7. Disclaimers
Channel is provided "as is." We do not guarantee availability, uninterrupted service, or error-free performance.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Channel Media, Inc. is not liable for:
- Service interruptions
- Data loss
- User interactions in chat
- Third-party station content
- Device issues or app crashes
9. Reporting Issues
You may report:
- Bugs
- Abuse
- Community guideline violations

10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by U.S. and California law.
